Hand carved timber musical instrument.

Artifact is used for rythmn during traditional dance, singing, chanting or didgeridoo playing. Sound is made by hitting the two hard pieces together.

This clapsticks made from Mulga wood, however they can also be made from other hardwoods such as gidgi, ironbark, bloodwood, black wattle or other eucalyptus wood depending in which area you lived.
